Your Personal Information
StepnSeat, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected on this site. We will not sell or rent this information, nor will we share it in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement.

Address Information
Our site uses an order form for customers to request information, products and services. We collect visitor's contact information including but not limited to addresses, email addresses, phone numbers and financial information (account or credit card numbers). Information is gathered by StepnSeat, Inc. for the sole benefit of StepnSeat, Inc. Contact information from the order form is used to send orders, information about our company, and promotional material from StepnSeat, Inc. to our customers. The customer's contact information is also used to get in touch with the customer when necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings.

Financial information that is collected is used to bill the user for products and services. Our online surveys ask visitors for contact information (typically the customer's email address) and demographic information (like their zip code, age, or income level). We use contact data from our surveys to send the user promotional material from StepnSeat, Inc.

Customer information is considered to be an asset of StepnSeat, Inc. and as such may be transferred to another company as part of an acquisition of StepnSeat, Inc.


E-mail Newsletter
If a user wishes to subscribe to our newsletter, we ask for contact information such as name and email address. Users may choose at any time to unsubscribe and thereby opt-out of receiving future mailings.

Security
This website takes every precaution to protect our users¹ information.

When our registration/order form asks users to enter sensitive information (such as credit card number), that information is encrypted and is protected with the current industry standard encryption protocol - SSL. While on a secure page, such as our order form, a lock icon on the bottom or top of some Web browsers becomes locked, as opposed to un-locked, or open, when you are just ?surfing¹. Another way to tell if you are on a secure page is to look at the URL (you can look in the address box or right-click on the page and select Properties to see URL). Secure URLs start with https:// instead of http://.

We may disclose personal information when required by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary in order to conform to the edicts of the law or comply with a legal process served on our Web site.


Shipping

We ship out of many points all over the US. We do this so that we can deliver your order quickly. We ship most orders placed by 1:00pm EST the same day.

We keep it simple - we focus on offering you a low total price coupled with great service.

Most orders are shipped UPS Ground. Other shipment speeds are available for an extra cost. Please note, that some products may need to shipped via truck freight due to their size or weight. Products shipping truck freight include curb-side delivery, but not in-home delivery. That is available for an additional charge.


International Shipping
At this time, we only ship orders to destinations in the lower 48 United States and its official territories.


Returning Products

Our 100% Satisfaction Guarantee
Your personal satisfaction is guaranteed on all purchases. If an item is damaged or parts are missing, we will get you new part(s) or a whole new product. You may also return your purchase for any reason within 30 days for an exchange or a full refund of the purchase price, excluding shipping and handling costs, and gift wrap charges. All returned products must be in the original condition in which they were received, as well, as in their original packaging (we cannot accept refunds for furniture that has been assembled). We also cannot refund any shipping charges. If you were provided with free shipping and handling, we will need to deduct our actual cost of shipping and handling from your refund. If the item is not in original packaging and in a condition in which it can be resold, additional charges may apply.

If we make an error on the item(s) we shipped to you, we will happily incur all shipping costs relating to the error including the shipping back to us, and free shipping once again to get you the correct merchandise.


Product Arrives Damaged
Through years of experience our warehouses are exceptional at insuring that products are packaged well enough to withstand the abuse that can be encountered in shipping.

That said, things do occasionally get damaged during shipping. If an item arrives and looks to be damaged, please inspect the package. If the items were shipped via truck freight then write "package damaged" on the sheet where the driver asks you to sign for the delivery. This is very important in order to be able to process a freight claim. If the package contents appear to be significantly damaged you may opt to simply refuse the package from the shipper. If you do this they will send the damaged package back to us and we will send you a new one. If you do refuse a delivery, please let us know so that we can expect the return shipment.

If you have already accepted the package and you open it up to find that parts are missing and/or damaged please give us a call. 90% of the time we can solve it by simply shipping you a replacement part(s) that was missing or damaged. We will ship this part to you free of charge, and you typically will not need to worry about returning the original damaged piece. If the product is damaged to the point where sending replacement parts is not practical we will have the carrier pick up the product and we will then send you a full replacement. In either case it is important that you save all of the original packaging material until your case is taken care of just in case we need you to send it back to us.

To Return a Product
  • Please email info@stepnseat.com or call us at 630-694-1111 within 30 days of the delivery of your product, to receive an RMA number and a return address. If you email, please include your original order number, what product(s) you are returning, and your name in the message.
  • Wrap the package carefully, using the original shipping box if possible. Items must be in their original packaging.
  • Send your return using your preferred shipping method, to the address you are provided. Note: this may be our main office or to a distribution center.
  • Please Note: unless the return/exchange is due to a StepnSeat, Inc. error, we will deduct a small restocking and handling charge.
  • When processing a refund, we can only credit the card used for the original purchase.
  • The product must be in original packaging and in a condition where it can be resold. If this is not the case, additional charges may apply.
